WelcomeMAP is a platform or web tool to provide its members and other users with possibility of seeing, navigating, rating, reviewing and posting tourist offers, services and other tourist information content (Content Delivery Service Provider platform). Any other use may be deemed unlawful. All logos and graphic content of platform (excluding user generated content) is copyrighted by Sigas d.o.o. and its brand WelcomeMAP.
WelcomeMAP aims to deliver as accurate information as possible, however it can not be liable in any way for accuracy and published content of its members.All materials published by its members are in their sole responsibility, however WelcomeMAP will aim to immediately filter all potential offensive or any other inappropriate or unlawful content.
Content or place or any other entity can be marked as “claimable” by WelcomeMAP and claimed by its registered members. If there are more than one interested parties that claim the right to the same content or place or any entity, arbitration process may be filed in the form of official appeal to WelcomeMAP with all necessary information that proves entitlement to content entity or place. Depending on the scope, arbitration process may involve additional fees.
Infringement Notifications under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act or Copyright Directive (EU).
To file a notice of infringement with WelcomeMAP, you must provide a written communication that contains your LEGAL SIGNATURE (we cannot process a DMCA or Copyright Directive complaint without a signature) by email (in PDF format) or regular mail that sets forth the items specified below.
Please note that in addition to being forwarded to the person who provided the allegedly infringing content, a copy of this legal notice will be sent to a third-party which may publish and/or annotate it. As such, your letter (with your personal information removed) may be forwarded to Chilling Effects (http://www.chillingeffects.org). The administrator of an affected site or the provider of affected content may make a counter notification pursuant to sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Accordingly, if you are not sure whether certain material infringes the copyrights of others, we suggest that you first contact an attorney. Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit Sigas d.o.o. to contact you (email address is preferred).
Provide information, if possible, sufficient to permit Sigas d.o.o. to notify the owner/administrator of the allegedly infringing post, webpage or other content (email address is preferred).
Please include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
Please include the following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
